We aim to handle over 50 million metric tonnes annually, to include Grains, Oilseeds, Metals, Minerals, Oil, Energy products, Biofuels and Chemicals, regarded as essential commodities to fuel growth in the world economy.
Our global reach gives us an edge to become one of the worlds efficient origination suppliers for in-demand products. We have built relationships with producers who include Agro Suppliers, Mine Houses, Oil Producers, Refineries and Product Distributors. We play an important role in delivering these products reliably, efficiently and responsibly. Our global network of offices spans 6 continents and includes strategic networks of Grain Elevators and Depots, Storage Plants, Processing Plants, and Distributional Infrastructure.
Gardewine will aim to maximise the price differential between the price it will pay for buying commodities and the revenue it will earn by selling them. It will work with producers and aggregators to secure long-term supply of commodities, hence, minimising the overall cost of acquiring inventory will be Gardewine’s priority objective.
Warehousing
We are affiliated to storage and handling assets that meet the needs of both producers and consumers. Careful storage and handling, meeting prescribed specifications and adhering to safety standards close to the points of origination and distribution, allows for products to be stored and to be delivered at the time, quality and specifications of the customers.
We have access to specialised storage and handling facilities in all the regions in which we have a presence in. We monitor and inspect these facilities and implement quality control systems in order to assure the quality and specification of every single order. We continue to invest in our systems and people to guarantee the highest quality supply chain and to meet the increasing requirements of our customers.
Blending
We have access to a range of blending facilities that enable us to deliver some of the vital commodities we supply as ready to use products for our customers to use. These include Metal Smelters, Industrial Processors, Oil Refineries and Commercial Warehouses.
We endeavor to blend products to the exact specifications for consumers, maintaining quality, Safety and Sustainability.
Marketing
We are one of the emerging commodity marketers, exporting products from North and South America, Africa and Australia to Europe and Asia. We continue to build and harness direct relationships with producers and consumers in regions around the world. We actively take advantage of arbitrage opportunities all over the world where we buy a commodity at a certain price, and sell it at a predictably higher price, taking into account our costs. This means physically sourcing commodities and products from our global supplier base, transporting them by sea, rail, and truck, storing and processing them, and delivering them to the time, quality and specification that our customers require.
We sell commodities that we source from an extensive base of suppliers and market to a broad base of industrial consumers in sectors such as automotive, steel, milling, brewery and power generation. We aim to maintain long term commercial relationships with our customers, who value our scale, reputation and market knowledge.
At the heart of these marketing efforts is an affiliated network of strategically located assets, allowing us to store, and transport commodities and products. They include warehouses, ships, storage, port facilities and commodity processing plants. Because we market commodities from supplier to customer, we are able to add value throughout the supply chain. We do this through blending and processing to meet the specific needs of industrial consumers. And through our network of affiliated assets, we ship, rail, and truck commodities through terminals, refineries, pipelines and ships customers all around the world.
Distribution
Commodity trading firms rely on efficient logistics to transport commodities cost-effectively. Where the existing infrastructure is sub-optimal, Gardewine will have strong commercial intentions to invest in midstream assets linked to modern ports and terminals that will ultimately increase the efficiency of supply chains.
With many producers being found in remote areas, often in emerging economies, our expertise will procure and deliver these commodities to consumption centres on the other side of the world. We will endeavor to increase profitability and generate more physical arbitrage opportunities by lowering transportation costs.
With growing emphasis on service in the commodity industry, service reliability will be Gardewine’s fundamental operational positioning. We will strive to meet producer demand and deliver products on spec and on time, every time. Whether supplying coal or gas to a power generating firm, for instance, we will endeavor to deliver contracted cargo in the right volumes, at the right quality, at the agreed time and at the place.
We oversee commodities from the origination zones, transporting them to and from storage and processing facilities and port terminals via road, rail and ocean vessels. We are affiliated to a global logistics network of firms in trucking, railroads and ocean-going vessels. This logistics affiliated network gives us an ability to monitor commodities from the producer to the hands of the consumer.
