Everyday, we strive to grow our business in a sustainable and responsible manner taking into account the effective management of health and safety, the environment, human rights and community engagement. We place the highest priority in ensuring the health, well-being, human rights and safety of our employees, our customers, and the communities in which we operate, as well as respecting and protecting the environment in the regions where we conduct business. We deploy proper handling of products; we communicate hazards and initiate risk management techniques to our counterparties and to authorities as we move products such as fuels and chemicals etc. We also ensure the effective management of incidents and how such outcomes would have on people, environment, assets and on our reputation. Managing risks of such an event occurring is extremely important for Gardewine and forms a major element of governance and procedures of our Health and Safety, Environment and Community
Compliance and Conduct
Our compliance initiatives involve risk assessments, monitoring, procedures and investigations to take into account the overall responsibility that is expected of us in all the countries and regions where we have business operations.
The management team led by the CEO is responsible for designing and continuously improving the systems and initiatives to ensure that our organization maintains the expected image. The board of directors led by the chairman is responsible for effective implementation and maintenance of the highest ethical and business standards throughout the organization. Each year new laws are passed, regulations updated, and to ensure are employees are kept up to date, Gardewine has mandatory educational training for our staff and employees.
