Our Leadership
Mwali Mwali - Director
-Since founding Gardewine Commodities Ltd in 2021, Mwali has built a team of individuals responsible for different trading desks involving Grain and Oilseeds, Metals and Minerals, Oil and Energy and Biofuels and Chemicals. Mr Mwali has also led the establishment of several business operational units involving Origination, Marketing, Warehousing and Distribution.Prior, Mwali was based in Canada where he was involved in Logistics under Gardewine North Transportation Ltd, responsible for the movement of several commodities from producing regions to industrial consumers. He holds a Degree in Economics and Management, and is pursing an MBA in Transport Economics and Logistics Management.
Akuwa Mundia - Director
Akuwa has been instrumental to the strategic direction of the company since its founding, advising the board on key policy and administrative issues regarding compliance and regulation and the implementation of board resolutions.
She is currently head of human resource and administration at Corteva Agriscience Zambia, formerly Panner Seed Zambia Limited. She holds a B.A. Hons. In Business Management from the university of Greenwich, University of Greenwich, United Kingdom
William Chishimba
Director
William joined the board of Gardewine as non-executive Director in 2024. He is a member of our logistics committee with responsibility for Global Freight and Communication. William is managing Director of TI-Yende Movers and Transportation and Chairman of Kosha Technologies Ltd in Camada. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Manitoba. He has been in business for over 15 years overseeing investments in Communication and Technology.
